Hi BB-ers,

Just wanted a quick bit of advice on how to check my motor mount clearance. I'll be under there in the next 24 hours doing an oil change, and I wanted to know what to look for.

    You should be able to slide your fingers betwee the oil pan and the frame cross member. Also, the fan should be reasonably centered in the shroud - like about 3/4" clearance between the blade tip and the lower part of the shroud opening.
