wiring diagram for a 1989 740 GL 2.1F

Hello folks:

Just wondering if any of you have access to a wire diagram for a 1989 740GL 2.1F motor?

Can you check if there a relay in the path supplying power to the starter motor?

I notice that my starter motor is turning over slowly when I start it via the usually method with the ignition key. Sometimes the starter will not even turn over at all.

If I by pass the usual power path and apply the power directly from the battery. The starter turns over faster and the engine starts every time.

Dennis

      thanks for the information.

The wiring diagram shows that there are very few components between the ignition switch and the starter solenoid. From that I was able to deduce that the problem was probably a corroded battery terminal (+). I have clean off the terminal and the problem disappeared.
