Rear taillight assembly 240 Sedan 200

What holds the taillight assembly to the body of the 240? I did not see any screws inside the trunk area and mine is loose at the top of the assembly. You can even pull it away from the body a little bit but it seems sort of attached at the bottom. I think that this why I may be getting water inside the trunk area. Thanks.

There are four fasteners per side. Early cars have 8mm nuts, later ones have 10mm nuts.

There are pieces of thread stock sunk into the back of your taillight assembly. These pass through holes in the sheet metal of the car, allowing the taillight assembly to be clamped down on the inside with nuts. I think there are 6 of them per side- 10MM if I remember correctly. That is assuming yours are like the taillights on my 89 240.
