Has anyone Used Redline MTL in their gearcase? 120-130

I am changing my gear oil and I was wondering if anyone has used it and how it worked for them.

When I purchased my 1800S with an M41 it would often grind going into 3rd gear, especially when warm and shifting quickly. Who knows how long the present fluid had been in there, but I exchanged it for Redline MTL (I'd had previous positive experience with Redline MTL in my FWD S70 and V70 T5M's with M56 trannies). Now I can't get the gearbox to grind even if I try. Bottom line: I swear by the stuff! I also have Redline MTL in the differential, simply because the fluid was low and I had nothing else around. Heck, sometimes I even top off the SU dashpots with Redline MTL!

I use MTL in the race car (M40) and have had decent luck with it, but I still go through syncro's occasionally, so it's not a cure-all. BTW, I use MTL90 (75W90) and have had no such problems, but some racers have reported having problems keeping regular (70W80) MTL inside the gearbox. In any case, be sure the seals and gaskets are in good shape.

I have used MTL in a M46, M41 and Honda Civic gearboxes.
The M46 shifted smoother, in the four gears and the overdrive.
Didn't notice much difference in the M41 or Honda gearboxes
    compared to 30W (M41)and 10W-40 (Honda).

Used RedLine D4 in the wife's van (automatic). A huge improvement in driveability.

I'm going to continue to use the RedLine synthetics in the gearboxes.
