sequence / prioitise these tasks for me please :-) 200

Hi All,

I just got in a boat load of parts. I want to tackle the "mounts".

Engine Mounts
Transmission Mount [M47]
Driveshaft Center Bearing Mount

Which order would you tackle these in & why? I have ramps, hyd. jack & 4 jackstands.

TIA
John

I'd do the motor mounts first.

If the originals are torn apart as they do get. Then you engine will be floating in limbo as you disconnect the last holding point ( The trani mount).

    The trani..then the Center bearing.

Assuring the Trani is at it's correct position will assure the Bearing bracket will line up to the body.

Me too, I would add that you may need to lower the transmission cross member to replace the trans mount. Dan
