I replaced the old paper air filters with a set of new K&N filters, and my poor engine (B18, twin SUs) is bogging down - zero power. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

...or it could just be that one of your gaskets is upside down - blocking holes to lift piston (nmi) 120-130

Hello,

It is possible to install the filters upside down and this will block the vent holes for the slide pistons inside the SUs.

Remove the air filters to see if the all the holes line up.

Make sure the filters are not installed upside down! One of the reasons that Volvo went to the "3 bolt" su's in the first place IIRC.
