Timing belt came off. Now how to retime the engine? 200

I replaced the timing belt over the weekend, and it came off the crank and intermediate shaft pulleys. I think I may have skipped setting the tensioner correctly as it was in the position it would be in of the pin was left in place. The good news it was right by where I live so I coasted down hill and parked it. The question is can I just line up the marks and put a new one on?
Thanks Bill in PDX

You got the answer in the below statements. Yes, you can just line up the gears with the Timing Marks on the engine block and reinstall the belt.
After the belt is installed, and you Loosen the Nut to let the Tensioner pull the belt tight, you may want to help the spring by pushing the Roller part of the Tensioner in the direction it should go to tighten the belt. Then retighten that nut.

Did you replace the tension roller? Did you clean the assembly and lightly lube the spring and plunger? I recently replaced my timing belt and tensioner roller as a kit. No problems with the install at all. I adjusted the tension a couple of days ago per the directions in the Big Blue Book.

Make sure the tensioner is seated flat against the engine, if not the belt will walk off the pulleys. Dan

Line it up per the 700/900 series FAQ. From the dropdown list at top right of these pages. I'm sure you already know that the USA 240s are a non-interference engine so there's no damage to head or valves from a broken or slipped timing belt.

Plenty information in the FAQ on the procedure.
