Who resleeves master cylinders? 120-130

There is a '68 dual brake MC (the one with the vertical mounts) from a 1800 on ebay right now.

I remember a thread about somebody who can resleeves these. Does anyone have a link to them? Cost? I figure these MCs are over $400 new, so resleeving/rebuilding has to be cheaper.

Don't really know why these are so hard to find?

Paul

If you go with them, let us know how it works out.

I have two of those 68 dual Master cylinders - one needs a sleeve for sure.

A guy in illinois who was into the Girling Boosters mentioned a place is Calif. that would install a sleeve for a reasonable price. Can't recall where though...

White Post Restorations used to do it. They are in White Post, Virginia, I believe.

I think it was White Post that did the master cylinder for my Jaguar... They did a complete rebuild on it, re-sleeve, and there are some oddball valves in there that were unavailable, but somehow they replaced those with new.

Lifetime guarantee. I think it was about $170, but that included those valves.

I was *very* impressed with the quality of their work and turnaround time.

And Paul... If ever you are needing parts of this vintage, feel free to email me. I might even have one of these master cylinders...

White Post Restoration is still in business, in White Post VA (about 15 miles from my house) and as far as I know, they still do brake cylinders.
