Deal or no deal? 700 1989

Saw this on craigslist Atlanta. I think it is the fuel relay what do you think? Deal or no deal?
"1989 White Volvo 740GL/ Red Leather Seats; Recently Updated: New Tires, New Belts, New Spark plugs/ Wires, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Oil Change

Runs and Drives well. At times, the car is not getting fuel. I think it needs a Fuel line (unsure); I recently drove the car back from AL so it runs well. I have 6 cars so I have no time/ driveway space to invest."

Car looks good in photos. I called the guy and he said it has a new fuel pump and filter. New belts and tires. The a/c components are new, but ac doesn't work!

Fuel pump relay or radio interference suppression relay. Either one, if malfunctioning, will cut off the fuel. Could also be the pre-pump in the tank (assuming it was the main pump that was replaced)

Might be a good car if the price is right. The relays are cheap and easy, the pre-pump is a minor hassle to change, and the part is about $100 new.

Could be. Those relays are a known problem. How does he know the car isn't getting fuel?

    What's the price like?

Can you live without A/C?... otherwise you'll pay someone to do it. Does "new A/C components" mean that the car was converted to r134?
