I've got an original Volvo trailer hitch that I purchased from Don Foster about 5 or 6 years ago and I'm wondering if this is meant to work with it somehow?

    My grandmother had this damn thing on her 85 245 - it's annoying when it comes loose

    It's a tuck-away hitch assembly

    The green lever allows the hitch to roll counter clockwise and withdraw under the body/trunk of the car - I recall my father saying those things are not legal but in recent years i've seen similar concepts.
