I'm bowing out of the Volvo scene 700

First of all, I would like to thank all of you here at Brickboard.com for your friendliness and excellent advice. There are few car message boards with as high-class members as the ones found here. I have been blown away by how mature and respectful everyone here is. You guys set a good standard for others to go by!

I was recently made an excellent offer for my '87 Volvo 740 GLE, and factoring in the price of gas, as well as the expenses of operating a car, I decided to let the car go.

The new owner has a small Volvo collection and bought my car as a graduation present for his daughter, so I know it's going to a good home.

Thanks to everyone for their help and generosity!

Good luck with your future ride, Tim!

Every time those gas prices go up another nickel, those Ford Focuses and Nissan Sentras start to look better.

If I did not have so many spare parts, I would find something else to drive also! My wife has been on me to buy a newer Maxima, but the old Viking iron satisfies the ADD side of me.

Good luck on the next ride.

    Regards,
