Need hose sizes 700 1987

Hi folks,

I'm going to replace the vacuum hoses underneath my intake manifold, and I don't know the sizes of hose I will need. Let me describe what I need:

All hoses go to a B230F in a 740GLE.

Hose that goes from top of intake manifold to small plastic T-connector underneath; from the T-connector a second stretch of hose goes forward to a mystery spot(?) underneath the vacuum canister.

Hard hoses that go to and from the IAC. Should I consider just cleaning them?

Thanks!

Ari

Hello Ari,

Contact the folks over at FCP Groton www.fcpgroton.com. They should have the hoses you need, and it will be far cheaper than the dealer. The hoses are metric and most auto parts stores don't carry them. For the IAC hoses, give them a looking over. If they are still supple and have no cracks, just clean them and put them back on. It may also be a good time to clean the IAC motor if it hasn't been done for a while.

Regards, Jon 'Uncle Olaf'

Suggestion: go to the Volvo dealer and buy the hoses there.
