Needed in Portland: rear Girling caliper passenger side 140-160

Mine is seized and doesn't want to budge. Anybody have an extra one in decent shape? I'd like to pick it up Thursday or Friday of this week. I need to get it fixed Friday night. For the '71 144.

Make sure it is not the hose! (Open the bleeder valve and try to back it in again.)
In my experience, even with rust on the pistons the caliper can be put back into
service with some work.
The guys at IPD should have some ideas.

George is right as I just went through this. I replaced the front calipers as one was stuck. I put the new one on and it stuck too. It was the hose. I went ahead and replaced all six and it now works fine.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try to locate replacement hoses locally tomorrow just in case. the good news is that the front brakes all look good.

I ordered mine at the local Car Quest. They had them the next day. I paid $136 for all six. They have some connection with an European parts company and seem to be able to get any mechanical part I ask need for the 142 and 240.
