Fender and front piece 120-130

Hi I am trying to locate fenders and a front piece for my 63 wagon. I have a 65-70 front to trade with if interested. The parts need to be straight and with out dents, since I am doing an total to mint condition. Anyone has an idea or have what I need?
Thanks for any help

I have some wagon fenders that may not be in any better shape than the ones you have. I am in Houston - not sure if its too far a hike from Slidell.

I am going to let Shannon (sdewolfe around these parts) have first dibs on them. They are straight, but have a little rust and possibly some previous body work done to them.

If no one wants them, they are going away with the wagon shell to the scrap yard. I simply do not have the space.

Have a Sawzall? 120-130

Before you send that shell I would be interested in some small patch sections for the '64 I just bought.

Passenger side partial A-pillar and small bit of roof where it meets the drip channel.

I can send photos or a drawing showing what patches I need and they are small enough to fit in a USPS parcel box; the best shipping our here.

Let me know if you are up for it and we'll work something out.

Hey Mario,

Send me a message off list and I'll give you a run down on the car situation. I have a sawzall and should be able to take those pieces out for you before I send it to the crusher - but no guarantees on when I'll be able to do it.

If anyone had it then Joe would have it!
He has or had brand new fenders and nose pieces about a year ago
but what he has left I have no idea.

As stated, they may have been later style nose pieces but he has so many whole used cars in his waehouses I would guess he has a perfect older one somewhere!

Good Luck with the restoration!

cheers,

Thanks I am going to see what he has for my wagon. Maybe he carries more "candy" for my ride.

Thank you again

You won't be able to find perfect used fenders. Buy new fenders from the dealer or one of the vintage Volvo part houses (i.e. VIP, Swedish Treasures, etc).

The nose section can also be bought new, but only the newer version ones ('65-70), but I think they can be modified to work with the older grills. Good used nose sections should be easier to find then good used fenders.

Yes I am aware of this. The only problem is 62-64 has 3 "lips" in the bottom to allow clips holding the mesh in place so it does not flarp in the wind, otherwise it is just to cut the "ears" of for the newer grill and the surround will fit in without any problems and I have done this before.

Thanks for your input
