Recently noticed that the odometer and trip meter quit but speedo works fine .is there a cable on this 1990 760 turbo or is the speedo no good .
Lucid if you read this i checked the 87/1 wire at the relay and all is good ,problem has not come back and codes are still 111 after reset, any ideas?

Hey Pete,


There is no cable for the speedo on these cars. Its electronic. A small plastic gear jams or breaks and causes the odometer and tripmeter to stop working. Its not hard to fix. Check out the FAQ: Instruments. It explains it well. I think IPD has the gear and there is another site that has gears for these as well. I can't remember its name. A quick google may find it.
