I'm needing to replace the evaporator on my 1992 940, just found one from thevolvosite.com, is this a good source for parts? Thanks for the advice.

BTW. the price is $110 plus shipping, cheapest I've seen. I'll call tomorrow and see if they'll tell me the brand.

Not sure, but if it is a recognized US brand it's OK. See the FAQ for tips. For what it is worth, aftermarket evaporators are OK but aftermarket condensers have been problematic due to poor fit. They are loose and begin rubbing under vibration, leading to abrasion and failed tubes. I just replaced a condenser with a Volvo OEM unit from Borton and it fits perfectly.
