My klunker 1993 965 with 237k miles on the clock was rock solid to 110 mph recently. I'm way impressed with this straight 6 lump.

    Wife, child, professional responsibilities.... 80MPH on NYS thruway (along with everyone else passing a line of trucks). Then back to 65.

    the engine and transmission are not a problem but all the front suspension and stearing parts will suffer A LOT, specially for cars that have more than 150K miles, these are very heavy cars and these parts wear out very fast, I wouldn't put my 92-960 under that stress, I think 90 MPH is the fastest I've tried for just a few seconds.

      I think my car stresses a great deal more just on lousy roads that have not been properly maintained.
