I'm having a very difficult time finding a GOOD used (or new, for that matter) distributor drive gear shaft (418277) or a new Brake Resevoir (663418). Does anybody know what the diggerence is between part numnber 663418 and 663418-2? I have found them on various site catalogs but they have been out of stock when contacted.

"I Believe".... Volvo used (uses?) a check digit on their part numbers, thus the "-2" The parts should be the same no matter what. Theory being that the check digit catches numbers being keyed in wrong during inventory.

You should not have trouble finding a good used drive gear as ALL B18, B20 and B30 used the same one.

Volvos suggested list price is almost $250.00 for a new one, but they are on backorder. A backorder can be filled in less than 2 weeks.

I have used drive gears and new reservoirs in stock.
