How to install 122 radio 120-130

Hi,
when i bought my 67 122, the radio wasnt installed. The wires are cut so I don't want to hook it up, it's just the car looks wierd without it in. What do I need in order to do it? How do I put it in?
Much appreciated!

    Do you have the radio?
Can you identify the wires that went to it?
If so, match them by color with crimp terminals.

More info needed. If you have the original cut out + 2 holes in the dash you'll need a 2 spindle radio unless you want to cut the dash about to fit a modern unit. If it's already cut for a modern din unit or similar you'll need a fitting kit to match the hole and your radio. If you're not going to use the radio it will be better to use an original radio delete plate if the dash is original. If it's chopped about you should still be able to make a neat plate to cover it. Maybe usable for extra instruments, clock, cell phone, GPS, radar receiver, iPod bracket etc.

          True,
I have the delete plate, but its white. I think im going to buy the touch up pen from IPD and paint it, if there's enough paint in it. My brackets broke off the plate, how should I put it in w/o brackets?

you'll have to macgyver something. I'd say get a couple thin strips of metal, trim them to length so that they fit into the lip of the delete plate.

Pull the strips out and drill a hole through each. Install a short machine screw. slip the strips back into the plate (screw side out) and put the delete plate in place. Put some fender washers and nuts on the back and tighten down. This should take care of it.

This is similar to the instructions for mounting Volvo mileage badges and such to your grill.
