Folks,

I've got a 1992 Volvo 245 with about 160,000 miles and all the bushings are original. I'm thinking it's probably time to start by replacing the rear trailing arm bushings. Anyone in the Baltimroe/Washington DC Area have the homebrew tool or mind helping me out one weekend? I'd definitely consider taking you out to a nice dinner or something like that for your efforts. Always nice to meet and work with another Brick-lover.

    I have been wondering just how to do all my rear bushings myself.I have the IPD poly bushings,which have been sitting in my trunk for years.Do you know how to do all of this?Do you have a lift,or will you be jacking the car up?

    I made the tool and if you include the time running down the parts about 5 hrs. Since it was my first time replacing rear trailing arm bushing it took me about 5.5 hours including breaks. My times are start to completed time. good Luck.

    Bummer. Nobody wants to help me with my bushings.

    At least the Dolphins have been victorious a few times this season so far.
    Chad Pennington is swell and very articulate.
    Joey Porter is a disruptive beast with a lot to yack about.

      I think you post is offering work without the offering of a carrot. You failed to embellish your offer with good food (you need words like T-Bone or Porterhouse), a listing of adult beverage offerings, and then there is the fear of having to be around a Redskin fan.

      Like the joke says you are trapped in a room with hungry lion, a hungry bear, and a Redskin Fan. You only have a gun with two bullets, what do you do. The answer is shoot the Redskin fan twice. You have a slight chance to reason with the Lion and the Bear.
