Installing 95 960 Trunk Struts 900

I bought some after market NAPA struts for the trunk on my 95 960. These are suppoesed to be OEM certified fit and finish. I would appreciate tips on installing these.

Unfortunately the two I got have the same part number, but have slightly different attachments for the ball.

What tools will I need, and what is the better way to get the old off and new on? Should I grease the balls or use silicone lube?

Input appreciated.

The struts should just pop off the balls with a sharp jerk. Use silicone grease to lube.
