Door Seals 140-160 1970

I know this is covered elsewhere ...but I'm looking for current advice. What's the best place to order door seals...the ones that fit in the little channel all around the doors?

What a bout the window seals on the 142 doors - are these available? The model I have is a 1970 with the 1/4 lights.

Since the 242 doesn't have vent windows, I would not imagine that you could find window seals from a 242 that would be the same.
What the post seemed to refer to was the seals around the outside of the doors.

VP Autoparts, GCP and Olof's Vintage Import Parts up in Point Roberts, Washington. You can phone Olof at (604) 992-9664 (a Canadian number)
I've bought from all 3.
Also IPD or RPR or even your local dealer may be able to furnish them.
Equivalent 240 parts will probably work also.

Does the 2 series rule apply to the 145? 140-160 1970

I have a '72 145, would 245 seals work all around? That's including the tailgate?

Thanks!

I checked with the magic 8-ball and it seems "all signs point to ... YES"
Door seals and tailgate seals are compatible. Window channels and scraper moulding... not so much.

Ah... 140-160 1970

So the soft rubber on the doors is good to swap, then. A guy around here has a 244 he's going to junk in the next few weeks, and I wasn't sure if it was the scrapers or the door rubber that would translate. It was starting to snow, so I just grabbed the box of scrapers he had already pulled off (rubber was still on the car), just in case. I guess I'll have to go back.

They seem a lot alike - btw I am not into rules!
You'll have to try them to make sure.

Currently my '69 144S sports the hollow door seals from whatever the year 244 I took them from--they all fit--solid and hollow--never looked into buying them new with so many used ones available at no cost.
