Hello

Both of my 240s strut cartridges are rusted beyond repair. The only new replacements I could find where these http://www.mufflerguy.com/p-5685-tokico-hp-series-strut-cartridge-volvo-240-1975-1993-front-right.aspx
Has anyone used these? Or does anyone know another place to buy new ones?

Are you talking about the strut cartridges that go inside the strut tube or the strut tube itself?

If you want cartridges, KYB offers them as does IPD.

Sorry, more detail needed.

Sorry for the lack of detail.
I am talking about the strut tube.
They are rusted all around the flange that the coil seats in.
I would rather buy new ones then try to repair these ones.
I do not live close to a junk yard that has volvos

Go to www.car-parts.com . Enter what you are looking for and location and it will list junkyards near you that have it. Many yards do ship parts. I just got a left strut (complete unit with spring and a very usable strut mount) for $45. Brand new strut tube from Volvo (such as www.getvolvoparts.com) is about $250.
