I'm still a bit new to this site and when I find an article that I really really want to read in the archives I get the BAD REQUEST symptom. I added brickboard to my browser and identified it as one of my favorite site to check out(mac). I first thought it was just the server being down or some maintenance on the site but it has been like this for 3 weeks.Even on articles I would check out at home then go to a Volvo 240 Meet and tell people about the articles they would then later get on and find out it has a bad request as well. Whats up with that>?

I'm not sure whats causing your trouble. I just tried to access some older posts, both through the search function and the forum archive link and had no problems both ways. How exactly are you getting to the "bad request" message? Also, you said "articles"--I'm assuming you mean forum posts, or is it something else you're accessing? I used to have trouble accessing the FAQ sometimes, if thats really what you mean, but I just checked and that works for me too.

Also, I'm using firefox. I assume on a mac you're using safari--could that be the problem? Anyone else out there on a mac?

I just tried again (different computer) and still have no trouble accessing old posts through the search function. I did notice that they say bad request under the first post, where the "click if its spam/thumbs up" stuff usually is. All the actual content still shows up though.

No, I'm using a mac with firefox, and I have the same problem.

I've had the same problems with a pc with both IE and Firefox. I've found if you highlight the URL of the bad page in the address bar and click enter, it will then open the page. Otherwise, highlight it, copy it, paste it back into the same bar that you copied it from and click enter. I don't know why this works, but it does.

I use firefox on a mac and have the same issue. I found that if I google 'brickboard' and whatever you are looking for, I usually can access the content. Good luck,
