Front Pass side Ground connection pix 900 1994

These are the ground connections to the side of the battery on a 940. To get them off I just kinda yanked. It kinda seemed like I was missing the "proper" way to remove these. Anyone know?

Dear Matt,

May this find you well. I'd pull, while wiggling side-to-side. Once off, I'd remove corrosion (with fine steel wool or an aerosol), coat lightly with di-electric grease, and re-install.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

Spook

Thanks for the reply Mr. Spook. I did pull them off and used my trusty dremel with the light steel wire brush attachment and cleaned em up nice. I had just noticed that the male end(attached to body) pieces had a tiny nipple protruding from one side, so I am assuming the makers wanted you too, in some way release it, aside from brute force. You know how some connectors want you too insert a small flat head screwdriver or something to allow release?
