Fan Motor....running too slow? 900

The FAQ only discusses fans that don't run, make noise or run in one speed.

Is it possible that the fan runs much slower than normal? I can barely hear the fan turn and it does not move a lot of air, but I can hear differences in speed based on the switch positions on the dashboard control.

I have a parts car with a good blower. Should I swap it out and see what happens?

sure, swap it out. it's an easy thing to do - 1 torx screw for the trim, 2 more for the ecu, then 3 screws holding in the fan itself. plug in the new one and see if there's a change.

good luck!

Hi, The blower wheel shaft bearings are binding and that is why there is a problem with all speeds. 900
