I am replacing the engine in a 93 940 with one out of a 95 940, I am driving a 87 74. all three have a different color injector, black, in the 740, yellow in the 95(i think) and teal in the 93 (i think) what is the difference?
The 95 replacement engine is a EGR and has the holes in the exhaust ports, I was going to switch the head with the 93,(it threw a rod)if it checks out good, they are both 530 heads, any input on this ??

    I can tell you you have a turbo (teal injectors=Bosch 804). The yellow are either Bosch or alternatively Siemans if you have the Rex injection, and the 740 is using the non-turbo Bosch 709 or 734s. I am not sure the yellow Siemans sub for the yellow Bosch but I suspect they do.
