Hey everyone, I haven't been on here for a while. Too much work on the 80 year old house (I'm sure at least a few of you know that joy).

At any rate, I have collected a fairly impressive amount of 140 parts in my day and it's going to be quite some time before I get back to a 140 (working on an NSU right now), so I'm willing to let some of them go.

You name it, I might just have it.

Axles, doors, fenders, rallye gauge sets, GT Grilles, Stage II head, etc etc etc

I've also got shells.

I would also be interested in the GT grill and other GT bits. Also interested in the rallye gauges. Will you also include the sending units for the gauge cluster?

Is that a John Parker Stage II head?
Do you have any spare matched Volvo analog temp guage and coolant sensor?
And GT grills, (hen's teeth) what sort of shape are they in?

The GT grills are in decent condition.. One has the slash and no GT badge

The other has both the slash and the gt badge.

The real hens tooth part is the actual aluminum stamped bezels. With those any grill can be converted.. so really all you need in good condition is those, which are in perfect condition. The grills themselves are in good used condition (AFAIRecall).

The Head is not a John parker deal.. it's imported from sweden.. looks heavily decked.. I could cc it.. a lot of port work has been done and the valves are the equivalent to the stage 2 kg trimning head (AFAIRecall).

I am looking for a brake booster 9servo) of the kind they can't repair. I believe that the Girling which came on the early 140's

Might need an enngine crossmenber, too.

If he does not have one, yours CAN be repaired as long as it is not too rusty or has damage to parts that are not normally changed during rebuilding.

That appears to be a Girling single servo brake booster as opposed to the 1st picture which is an ATE dual servo brake booster.

Both of which can be rebuilt for around half of what a new one cost when they were still available with the same warranty as a new one, 12 months or 12,000 miles.

I have sold dozens of rebuilt brake boosters over the last 10 years without a single problem.

In the last year I have sold almost half a dozen rebuilt Volvo brake boosters to fellow brickboarders.

There is an additional $50.00 charge to powder coat the brake booster can, otherwise the can is returned to you just sandblasted so you have to paint it or it will start to rust.

If the booster holds vacuum, it will USUALLY be okay.
