Upper Timing Cover 200

Hi folks, I know this may be a dumb question, but I tried to search for it and came up with nothing. I was just wondering if I need to remove the fan pulley, or any other pulleys or belts to remove the upper timing cover. I already have it unbolted and 90% free, but it seems to be pinched near the pulley.

Many Thanks,
Dan

Yeah, once you removed the 3 bolts and top screw you can pull it out. Its just simply a tight fit between the fan pulley. With care your cover will come out alright.

If memory serves me, There is a 12mm headed bolt that you missed. You might not be able to get at it with teh Pump Pulley in teh way.

Do you remember how many bolts there were? I think I pulled three bolts (of two sizes) and one screw from the back.

I think you got them all.
Looking at some old pictures of a Timing Belt job.. I think your bolt/screw count is correct.

The Top does kind of lock into the bottom not sure how tight it's hanging on for you.
