Plastic Fender Liners 200 1981

Can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic liners in the front fenders. I'm preparing for a paint job.

I found plastic liners, though they help the wheel well look good, trap moisture and cause rust along the fender lip.

Myself, I toss them so that I have access to the fender interior for spraying away dirt.

Excess trim along the lower body also tends to speed rusting.

I found plenty of dirt in the trim along the bottom, sides and, windows. I'm planning to reinstall most with double stick tape to seal the trim and all the holes in the body. The front window frame and the grooves in the rear window rubber are filled with sealant.

There are numerous 10mm headed bolts/screws that hold the inner fender liners in place, naturally, the mud flaps must come off as well.

Once all the bolts/screws are out, give it a good yank and you are good to go.
