Always look up (finally ... success) 900 1994

After swapping pairs of bulbs inside the trunk, and cleaning contacts ad nauseum I had about given up, enduring the outage light on the dash.

I take the car into the shop to get some air conditioning work done, and the tech asked me if I knew that the back window brake light was out ?!???*!

He said it is missed a lot.

I went back and looked at the FAQ's, and yes - there it was. Just have to read closer. Thing is, it is something I should have known. :(

Live and learn.

Been there, done that! I understand your frustration, same thing happened to me a couple of years back. At least I suppose you now have shinny contacts on your tail lamps!

      10-4 on the contacts. :)
Even though it is mentioned in the FAQ's ..it could be emphasized more.

This is what I read ..
"I replaced all of the bulbs (including 3rd brake light) with new ones, but it still happens."
When I read third brake light, it just did not connect in my brain. I tend to read things too quickly anyway.

Anyway ..hopefully this will help others.

      Thanks for your reply.
