Hi all,

My names Steve, and I'm new (again) to the world of bricks.

have a new kid I just adopted, and the last home never checked the air box thermostat.

long story short, the baby needs new shoes. (AMM)

since we have other issues with the car, I would like to pick up a used A.M.M.

any tips,hints, tricks to finding one?

    Checking AMM is in the 7/900 FAQ on this site, check it out. Here is a link to the AMM discussion. I'd get the rebuilt one, you know it will work.

    Well, the old girl needs more than just the AMM, so I'm trying to keep the costs down a bit.

    I looked on ebay, and all I saw were the rebuilt @$200.

    is there a way to check the amm without replacing it?

    You might find a used one, but we're talking 25 years old. Suggest a rebuilt one, numerous online suppliers have them, memory says about 200 bucks with a warranty. Good luck.

      Try ebay. I got a rebuilt one there and it seems like it was less than $100.00.
