85' 240 - Passenger side high beams don't work. Lows work fine 200 1985

I found out yesterday that on my 85' 240 (with 4 Square headlights) when I turn on the High beams the passenger side headlights go completly out(high and low beams together). Low beams work normaly for both sides.

Could this be a Headlight relay problem(doubt it), wiring problem or burned highbeams?

I will try to get some more troubleshooting done next weekend.

First thing to check is the connector at the headlight. They do go bad and are easy to replace.

If you can measure a voltage on the wire with the high beam on to chassis you can pretty much bet that is the problem. You can get a splice in replacement at one of the auto chains.

No Voltage at the connector and you are headed to the headlight relay over on the drivers side fender.

Hope this helps,

Paul
