Temperature sensor - not to temperature gague..the other one 200 1987

I thought I might replace my temp sensor, not the one that goes to the temperature gague, but the other one.

I ordered one at FCP Groton, but it has two electrical prongs on it. I can clearly see that the one in the head only has one wire on it (only one prong to connect). FCPGroton part Part Number 1332396

What's the story on that?

did u replace it yet?
i replaced mine and it was super easy, no need to pull off anything to get at it.. use s couple 3/8" socket extensions you can get out thru the maze and in the clear to attach ratchet.. don't over tighten the new one!

Ditto Pageda's comments. I just changed one. It's easier if you pull throttle body etc.

THe one you are seeing is for the gauge, the one you can't see is for the ECU and has 2 wires connected to it. It is under #3 cylinder intake runner pretty much hidden from view.

I'll double check, maybe wear my glasses this time.
