Do the 2 pins (with small spring clips)that hold front disc brake pads in place in caliper insert from inboard to outboard or outboard-in?

Is "brake quiet" spray needed on 240 brake pad shims?

Install from inboard side. I'm curious - did you buy a basket car, or did someone else disassemble and just leave you to put the thing back together?

Disk quiet never hurts, unless you glob it all over the place, but I've never found it absolutely necessary either.

Someone left me a 240 mess of parts to put back together.
