Wiring of the 91 dash cluster 900

I had to remove the dash cluster to get the speedometer fixed. I know where all the wires go except 1 ! It is a single plug with a yellow green and a purple white wire conected together. The plug is a blade type plug and I think it goes
on one of the two blades located just to the left of the large connector, while looking at the back of the cluster from the front of the car. (Large connector will be to the right.

1. What does the plug do?

2. which blade does it go on?

3. does anybody have a wiring diagram they can share with me? (the car is sold!)

Unfortunately my Haynes book diagrams are too small for me to read and they don't cover the 940.

I'l still be driving a volvo as I bought a S70 T5 about 2 years ago!

Regards and thanks

Based on my 92 940 OEM WD , it appears you are correct: it goes to the two-bladed connector to the left (passenger side) of the large connector. It is for the cruise control and duel system controls.

Steve,
Thanks I had just gotten through going as far as I could. That was the only thing left to do!

The lesson here for me was: Don't just assume that when you pull off a connector like that that there is only one blade in the area.

Thanks again I really appreciate the help.
