engine bogging down 200 1981

Have a mysterious problem. The engine bogs down in all gears at low rpm. When it does this, it sets up a vibration. The mystery is that it didn't do this before I had a new rear end put in it. My first thought was that it wasn't a 373 like the original. But that's not it. The thing has absolutely no power at all, and when the a/c is on, well, you get the picture. The car is an 81 245 with 4-speed plus overdrive. I run mid-grade gas in it. Tank has been cleaned, new injectors and seals, new fuel filter, new oil breather box. Would appreciate some guidance.

Fuel mix? 200 1981

Maybe the fuel mix is on the lean side. Can you enrich it?

Is the idle a bit low?

Mystery solved I'm embarrassed 200 1981

To start, about two months ago, we had the intake manifold off and installed a new timing belt and discovered that the distributer had been twisted to full stop to offset a timing belt that had been installed improperly. Set timing at 8 degrees at that time. After a shop installed the new(used)rear end I noticed the lugging down, vibration at low rpm's, etc. So just for fun, I checked the timing yesterday. The distributer was not lose, but timing was 16 degrees. The shop that installed the rear end commented on how slow the car was, that it had some slow cam that Volvo put in some cars and that I should let them install a new cam. Yesterday,I adjusted the timing to 9 degrees and the old girl is peppy again with no 'logging' down. It appears that the shop may have tampered with the timing to try to sell me more work. It's an assumption based on before/after performance from the shop that did the rear end. And here I thought they had put the wrong rear end ratio in. Wish I could prove that they tampered with the timing.
