check out this guy on ebay. He makes some really nice armrest covers for the 240. I have one and it fit perfectly and is really well made.

Later wagons had well covers made of hard plastic. You haven't said what year your 240 is but your cover is probably cardboard. Look for a later year wagon at a PnP.

I need a well cover for a 92 240 sedan.But I have found most of the volvos I pick up have this cheap cardboard fiber piece messed up.Sometimes I can wet them,then lay something heavy on them and they return to a good usable condition.But the one I have now is too far gone.

I ended up getting a couple off someone locally, mine was all bent to hell. I was going to soak it and try to flatten it out, once flat the plan was to fiber glass it on both sides to give it some rigidity. A bit of paint wouldn't hurt after the fiber glassing was done, should be an easy fix.

Sounds like a good plan.I don't like messeing with fiberglass,just me.I'm leaning towards Arts' solution although I may substitute for some type of plexiglass.
