I just picked up a 1992 240 wagon parts car and it had a bosch LH 2.2 AMM instead of the 016 found in the 2.4 models. I drove the car home and it ran great. can that AMM be used in the 1989-1993 models in a pinch ?

I just bought ($15 clean) a 016 for the new 1990 245 project as a back up. I was kind of discouraged to think that my 5 extra 007's AMM wouldn't be useful with my 83 or 90. Now it looks like I'll be keeping them on hand for the extended future. They might be the most desirable AMM since they work for so many years.

I got a 93 a few years ago with an 007 installed. It seemed to work fine but I put the right one in as soon as I discovered it.

+1 on that in a 91 we bought. The pinout on the LH2.2 AMM is the same with the exception that the 007 has the extra CO pot adjust wire, but the LH2.4 harness ignores it and the LH2.4 computer is good at adapting.
