I'm in the process of re-assembling my 1967 122S 4dr. and am having difficulty re-installing the door handles and window winders. I have new circlips. I installed the circlips inside the handles and tried to push them on, but no luck. Is there a special trick in doing this ?

Hello,

The clip has to be completely seated in the groove and the plastic bezel has to cover the top of the clip.

During installation, the bezel has to stay over the top of the clip or the clip will try to pop out.

Are the clips original Volvo parts?

I have had trouble with the cheap after market clips.

Thanks for the help. I purchased the clips from VP AutoParts together with many other items. I assume that they are original quality.
