I'm sure this has been covered here at length, but I can't seem to locate it using the search function. I need to access the wiring to my dome light and I need to remove the headliner around the front cabin area. How do I go about doing this? I thought I could just pull it out like you can at the hatch, but I can't seem to do this. Thanks in advance.

You are correct. The entire perimeter of the headliner is installed exactly like it is at the back. It's got that semi-rigid black plastic lip that is tucked in all the way around. On the sides, near the back doors, the fit is extremely tight due to the curves and such. I've found that the only sure way to get the side out without damaging the vinyl with pliers is by starting at the front or the back and removing far more of the headliner than you really want to. Annoying, but safe.
