Whick ECU for LH 3.1 200 1993

Please tell me what ECU the 1993 240's with the LH 3.1 use. If you have one for sale please email me. I think the brickboard email is working again, but just in case: jrstarkieatroadrunnerdotcom

Do any of the 9 series cars use the same ECU?

What difficulties would I have in converting a car with 3.1 to LH 2.4? I have a running 93 245 parts car with LH 2.4

Randy

Randy-
Two failure modes for the 951, no start and throwing false codes. I agree that this is not the ECU most likely.

not the 3.1 after all 200 1993

I was trying to help a guy out and he thought the car was 3.1 but it turned out to be 2.4

He has the white label 951 and his mechanic says he needs a replacement ECU. Not familiar with what the particulars are but it suffers from intermittent stalling (becoming more frequent). Has newer pumps and fuel injection relay. Sounds like it will die and not start up again immediately. CPS or ignition amplifier perhaps?

All my experience with ECU's has been they either work or they don't work- they are not intermittent. Your experience as well?

Randy

I would suspect the CPS, fuel relay or fuses before the ECU. I guess they do fail but I've not seen any and like Mike said they fail to a no start not a stall. Look at the insulation at the crank sensor.

hi Randy
generally when the 951 fails it is a no start but some have had other syptoms like running rich and such.
if he is close to you maybe you have one he can use for testing.
other ecus will work and Dan would know better than me.
i think the 946 will work and the 933 also but not positive.
i have only heard of 2 white label 951s failing.
i am fresh out of the 951 ecus currently.
good luck
Mike

Which ECU for LH 3.1 200 1993

Hey Randy, I know it is a rare one and not used in those 7/9 cars. I went to look for the number for you, and googled lh3.1 + ecu -- everything you want to know is on that page.

572 ECU only as far as I know and you want one with the white label.
