Can anybody explain what the heck is going on with this one?

Looks like they grafted the back of a wagon on a 244 and then welded the doors to make it look like a 242. Then somehow made a trunk lid out of a wagon hatch. So it's part 242/244/245!

Willing to bet it's not a "real" GT.

He does say "custom" but it's shrewdly worded so you don't know whether that adjective applies to engine or body.

I enjoyed that he doesn't want to waist time.

Although I didn't know they were imported into the US, could this be a factory original 243? The 243 had two doors on the driver side, the one in the rear was used for wheelchair storage.

On the other hand, somebody may have just welded it back together.
