this car runs great - when it starts! it will start one day, then not the next. starter cranks fine. new f/i relay. can anyone help?

I had a similar problem a few years back. Bad coil.

Besides the relay the 25 amp fuse near the battery can be a problem. Check for corrosion at the fuse holder and the connection to the battery. It is best to replace the fuse holder with a weather proof marine grade unit.

i replaced the fuse holder with a small circuit breaker.

I replaced my 88's crumbling 25A fuse holder with a waterproof marine holder ($6.00 at a local boat supply place) 6 years ago and haven't had to touch it since.
