A little over 8 hours today. If you've done this I know you appreciate the effort. Come Monday I'll have a frost free windshield and warm air while sitting at a light, all roar free!!

Congrats on the clean and complete install. Those little clips can really be an adventure if you don't hold onto them. Your car is now good for another 20 years!

Not knowing any better, the first Volvo I bought had this problem. The guy I bought it from said he would do it for $50 if I left it over the weekend. Had to return home (+500 miles away) so chose to do it myself. Only I had not discovered the B-board or any other helpful sites and instead used the Clymer's that came with the car. Valuable lessons learned, broken finger, new motor, and she still purrs and makes toast if left on high. Nice job! Thanks for the pics, brings back lots of memories for those of us that have done one of these.

Runwld,
I really thought leaving the seats in made it easier. We did most of the work sitting in the seats.

The worst part was finding the fan turbine clips when they went flying. I bet we lost 30 minutes looking for those little clips.
