Did it start all of sudden or has it been getting progressively worse?

Is there a big puff/cloud on startup that's worse than when idling?

Have you checked the oil level?

When you take off the oil filler cap does oil vapor come pouring out?

Typically smoke on start-up indicates worn valve stem seals.

Typically smoke on acceleration and even heavier smoke on deceleration indicates worn or simply stuck oil rings.

That being said, have you checked the flame trap to see if it is clogged? It is located in the black rubber intake tube near the Idle Air Control Valve.

Are you running dino or synthetic oil?

        What grade? xWXX

Is your driving mostly very short trips?
