If you plan on sticking a convex "spot" mirror on the driver's side mirror, do NOT place it inboard the end closest to the car, rather stick it near the outboard end of the mirror.

Otherwise, if the mirror gets folded against the car by heavy impact, you'll break the main mirror, and possibly the power adjustment system.

I just replaced the entire driver's mirror assembly on my 940 (not cheap) ... I learned the hard way.
