my 13/16" spark plug socket will not fit into the well in the head to remove the spark plug. I've looked at a couple of parts stores for a thin-wall socket, but have had no luck finding one. Where can I find a thin enough socket to remove the plugs in my son's '96 960 ?

The correct size is 5/8 inch.

Thanks for your note - someone has posted in another thread that 13/16" was the correct size, and that is the size of the replacement plugs I have. I will try the 5/8" socket, in case I have the wrong replacement plugs.
