On the suface sounds good. How many actual miles on it? Little use and short trips can be the start of issues. I'm a little leary of a car that hasnt been driven enough. If there's been no issues I might think things are about to start. Time is the bigest enemy of a car, driven a little or a lot. BTW from the pictures i dont know if its a

Well I saw my post when it was too late to edit so I'll finish it here tho its not really important-I was typing: "BTW from the pictures i dont know if its a"--- I meant to say "I dont know if its a reflection in the pic but it looks like it really needs a bath". lol.

BTW-the interior looks really nice but are you sure its really leather? It looks vinyl to me. Is it a DL or GL? Thanks.

Excellent points that you bring up. I pulled a B230F out of a 89 244 with 99K miles, full service records (flawless)in 2002, I knew the driving history as it was my wife's car. Short trips only, the temp gauge hardly ever moved off cold. When I pulled the engine apart, the ring grooves in the cylinders were so severe that it took a 0.012" overbore to make a long-life viable engine out of it.

There are additional issues like moisture buildup from condensation in the crankcase... very bad for bearings, kind of like a tiny headgasket leak day after day.
