Source for 1971 142S fuel tank 140-160

All,
My fuel tank, which has been patched before, is leaking again. Looks like I'll need a new one. Does anyone have a source for these? I see 1974s are widely available, but 1971s..... Any advice?
Madhu

Where are you located?

There's a guy here on the board who lives on the West Coast who has one for sale. He has a listing on turbobricks, but that site isn't coming up at the moment.

I have one from a '71 and am on the East Coast.

Let me know which would be your preference due to location. I'll try to add details later.

Dakota. I'm on the East Coast (Wash DC), so yours would work best, I think. If you want to reply offline, my email is munnikrishnan (at) gmail

I've sent a message to you offline.

We are 3-4 hours from each other. I'm sure we can make something work to get a tank in your hands.

Pretty sure anything from '68 - '72 should work.
However, '68 - '70 had a smaller opening for the sender so you'd have to get that too if you choose the earlier tank.
